World Music Series

Motown Eagles Concert May 14th has been canceled! Tickets purchased will be honored for the rescheduled concert on September 17th.

Celebrate the world through music!  The World Music Series begins on Saturday, May 14 through September 10 and features four performances by musical artists representing music from the world.

This world class music series begins on Saturday, May 14th with legendary hits of the world famous Eagles.  On Saturday, May 21, La Compagnie Music Troupe celebrates the Great Lakes maritime traditions and culture with music and folklore from the Great Lakes region.  On Friday, June 17th on his world tour, Claude Bourbon shares his amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern stylings into unchartered territories.  Closing the World Music Series is one-of-a-kind guitarist, Hiroya Tsukamoto on his national tour.  His original compositions as singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan will captivate the audience.  All concerts start at 7:30 pm.  Doors open at 6:30 pm

Tickets are available at the door and through the Presque Isle District Library at 989-734-2477.  All ages welcome.  Tickets are $10/person and proceeds benefit the Rogers Theater Restoration Project.
