Join Jes Clark (they/them) of Willow Vale Farm to weave a wonderfully decorative star out of willow. This is a fun introduction to willow weaving techniques. Finished stars will measure approximately 10 inches across. Although willow can be a tough material to weave with, this project is a little easier on the hands.
Jes Clark (they/them) is owner and operator of Willow Vale Farm in Stanfordville, NY. At Willow Vale Farm Jes grows willow for weaving as well as vegetables for home and neighbors. Jes weaves traditional and contemporary functional pieces and since 2018 they have taught new and intermediate weavers the wonders of willow. All of the willow is grown without pesticides using regenerative practices and with loving care.
