Writers on Writing: Jonathan Johnson

Monday & Tuesday, August 17 & 18, 2026.  1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Peter White Public Library Shiras Room.  Adults, Seniors, Teens.  In this new programming series, seasoned published authors of various genres lead participants through writing exercises and workshops to hone their writerly talents.  August’s Writer:  Jonathan Johnson.  Celebrated poet/writer Jonathan Johnson leads a two-day generative writing workshop for all genres and skill levels of participants.  Johnson’s work have been anthologized in Best American Poetry, published widely in literary magazines, and read on National Public Radio.  Space is limited to 15 participants, so register early.  No admission charge.  For more information, contact Marty at 226-4322, machatz@pwpl.info, or visit pwpl.info.
