Ya'ssoo Greek Festival

Come and enjoy a wonderful day of Greek Cuisine, Greek, Culture, and Greek Customs , as you become Greek for a day. Enjoy the Greek Hospitality that we are known for and learn how to Greek Dance as well. The Lighting of the World's Largest Saganaki takes place at 8:00 on Friday, May 27 as our Olympic Runner enters the Festival Grounds with his torch. So join us then or anytime during the three day event. We have several Greek Dance Groups from the area performing , the band ENIGMA will be playing all three days and will stroll through the grounds several times a day, and on Saturday evening at 9:00 PM, Leiliani will be dancing. We will have Cooking Demonstrations, including some done by our own Priest Joseph Gingrich, and we will be showing The Greek Story done by award winning producer Keith Famie that chronicles the history of the Greek Community in Metro Detroit. There will be many Kids Activities including jousting areas and obstacle courses, a Face Painter, a Caricaturist, a Magician and a Loukoumades Eating Contest. Hope to see you all there!!
