Warren, MI
Warren is the largest city in Macomb County and the third largest city in Michigan. It has a population of over 134,000. Warren was founded in 1830 and was originally called Beebe’s Corner. The city was named for the War of 1812 veteran, Rev. Abel Warren. However, some people claim that the city is named after General Joseph Warren who died in the Battle of Bunker Hill. Warren is home to General Motors Technical Center and the headquarters of Big Boy Restaurants International. Some fun things to do include the Warren Community Centre Indoor Waterpark, Breakout, and Warren City Center.
